Our Team
Kristina Dahlin
PA-C/Women’s Health Specialist, Bodyworker, Aura Soma Practitioner + Consultant, BodyTalk Student, Creator and Founder of SOMATA.
Kristina is a traditionally trained Physician Assistant with a creative and open approach on how to treat clients. She is a Women's Health Specialist with a background in comprehensive OBGYN medicine. She has created and trademarked her own healing technique: The Dahlin Method of Structural Adaptability. By integrating the wisdom of biodynamics, manual structural therapy, shifting bones and BodyTalk into the same cumulative therapy, The Dahlin Method of Structural Adaptability (DMSA) works with your body’s own healing power and processes to create structural adaptability within your body+mind.
DMSA allows your body to reset by kick starting your muscles+bones+mind+tissues to interact with gravity in a more efficient and harmonious way. Kristina loves to learn and study about the human body and experience. One of her main interests is learning how the laws of physics apply to the balance and structure of the human body. The human body is like a tall building that is anchored by a steady central pole. The steadying central pole is required to be vertical and balanced in order for the structure to work well with gravity.
DMSA aims to bring symmetry and balance to your body’s structure. This alignment allows your body to adapt to the gravitational pulls of your everyday life. With a balanced structure (your body) gravity is free to pull equally from each side of your body, creating an ease within your body+ mind connection which enhances your everyday activities and quality of life. DMSA gives your whole self the opportunity to use less energy trying to maintain balance or fight pain, this results in having more energy to heal and process your body’s actual needs.
The essence of DMSA is to keep you trusting in the deepest parts of yourself where love, healing and vitality are stored.
The practice SOMATA was created out of the combination of Kristina’s love for human anatomy and for bringing natural healing techniques to chronic pain sufferers. Somata is a place where she can step out of the medical world as a provider and into the holistic healing realm. This sanctuary of healing is a much needed space that offers clients a place to fully express their needs, release their pain, and to be heard. Each appointment is 2-3 hours in length. This allows Kristina to fully delve into all aspects of her clients’ specific physical and emotional needs.
Feel free to text or call Kristina with any questions regarding your personal needs, and to see if her techniques can help you or help a friend.
Elliot Chadwick
SOMATA Apprentice + Nurse Practitioner
Elliott has been a registered nurse since 2012 and board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2024. He earned his BSN from San Francisco State University and MSN from CSU Long Beach. He has intensive experience and special interest in working with addiction and neurocomplex conditions (Autism, ADHD, OCD) in both youth and adults.
Elliott is a neurodivergent person himself with a decade of sobriety; as such, he is a neurodivergent-affirming practitioner who considers each individual nonjudgmentally and holistically.
Elliott’s personal journey of neurodivergence, self-understanding, and self-acceptance returned him to a connection with the body as a means of caring deeply for himself and helping others to do the same. As a bodywork practitioner at SOMATA, the merging of the body and mind, the scientific and spiritual, feels like home.
